What 40 pilots pay on each, plan by plan
Monthly list prices in US dollars, as each company published them in October 2026.
- DroneLogbook Enterprise: $798 (40 × $19.95). The first plan with its Preflight Forms, which include the risk assessment.
- DroneLogbook Enterprise +: $998 (40 × $24.95). Adds sharing mission details and the operations calendar with people outside the team, through PIN-protected links.
- FlybyOps Business: from $2,500 for the workspace. Professional, at $999, covers up to 15 users, so a 40-pilot team starts here. Ask for a quote for your team's size.
- FlybyOps Enterprise: custom, on an annual contract, with unlimited users and workspaces, SSO and SCIM.
DroneLogbook takes 10% off for paying quarterly and 20% off for paying a year ahead.
What the difference pays for
Both keep the logbook. DroneLogbook imports more than 80 log types and tracks pilot currency, inspections and maintenance. FlybyOps records DJI Pilot 2 flights as they happen and keeps aircraft, batteries and their maintenance in one registry. Where they part is the rest of a regulated programme.
Risk shows it most clearly. On DroneLogbook, the risk assessment is one of the forms filled in before a mission. FlybyOps keeps one risk register for the programme: each risk scored on the SORA 5×5 matrix, with mitigations, an owner and a review date. Pilots can report risks and ground staff can flag them. Incidents are filed against a flight, job or aircraft and taken from report through root cause to closure, and admins and the project's managers are notified. The work itself is organised into projects and jobs, so every flight sits under the job it was flown for.
Where each part of the programme sits on each price list
Each cell starts with the plan it's on. DroneLogbook's column comes from its pricing grid, features page and Integrations Hub, FlybyOps' from its pricing and feature pages, as of October 2026.

Where BVLOS work fits
DroneLogbook's solutions page says firms looking to start delivery and BVLOS operations increasingly engage it for "customized solutions".
A BVLOS programme's record goes on between flights. The risk register is reviewed on its dates, work is approved before it flies, the crew on each job is on record, and incidents are followed to closure. Most of the flights logged in FlybyOps are BVLOS, and they sit in the same projects, jobs, risk register and incident records as every other flight.

Questions a 40-pilot team asks before moving
- Which FlybyOps plan does a team of more than 15 people need?
- Business or Enterprise. Professional covers up to 15 users. Business starts at $2,500 a workspace a month and adds flight approval workflows, contractor access controls, pilot currency tracking, maintenance schedules and API access. Enterprise is priced on an annual contract, has no user limit and adds SSO and SCIM. For a quote for your team's size, email hello@flybyops.com.
- Do people who don't fly count towards the price?
- Yes. FlybyOps is priced per workspace, and everyone who logs in counts towards the plan's users: pilots, ground staff and managers alike. Professional covers up to 15 users, and Enterprise has no limit. DroneLogbook's paid plans charge one seat per pilot, and people who don't fly are unlimited.
- What happens to our DroneLogbook history if we move?
- DroneLogbook exports flights, equipment, batteries, incidents and 90-day pilot currency as CSV from its Professional plan, and flight tracks as KML or IGC, so the history can be kept on file. FlybyOps has no DroneLogbook importer. From the day a DJI Pilot 2 controller connects to Flight Sync, which takes about two minutes, its flights are recorded as they happen. DJI flight logs can be uploaded, and flights on other makes are entered by hand.
- Can a contractor's pilots work in FlybyOps without seeing other clients' work?
- Yes. A contractor's lead holds the Operations Lead role and is assigned to projects by an admin or a project manager. They can add and remove pilots and ground crew on jobs in those projects and staff them on flights, and pilots and ground crew see only the jobs they're assigned to. Contractor access controls are on Business.
